21 Day Detox  Program

Springtime marks the transition from the cold and dryness of winter to the moist and warmth of summer.  We often put on extra weight in our bodies during the winter, and we also accumulate stiffness in our joints and muscles and dullness in our minds.  The traditions of Yoga and Ayurveda tell us we need to cleanse the body and mind of the qualities of winter in order to receive the summer free from colds, allergies, and stuck energy.
A Yoga Detox is a 3-week cleanse program aimed at helping you obtain your optimal health.  Based on the principles and philosophy of Ayurveda and Yoga, you are guided through systematic dietary and lifestyle changes that help eliminate waste, excess weight, and toxins from the body and mind.  Other benefits of cleansing include improved sleep, diminished food cravings, and increased digestion, elimination, and energy.
This cleanse involves reducing processed and harmful foods in your diet and replacing them with a whole foods diet, which includes fresh fruit and vegetable juices, whole grains, legumes, nuts, and seeds (meat and dairy are optional).  Each participant is asked to plan their detox based on their own individual needs and experience.  In addition to changing diet, participants are given tools to begin to align their daily life with the rhythms of the natural world.  These lifestyle and dietary changes help you more effectively connect to your body’s natural intuitive sense and begin to eat based on the true dietary needs of your body.
This cleanse includes a recipe and juicing booklet for preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner, and juices, a digital recording for a daily cleansing yoga practice, two online group support meetings, and two live Detox Yoga Intensives at Lazy Swan Country Club.
